    Emotional Freedom Techniques or EFT for short is a psychotherapeutic tool based on the theory that the negative emotions would be caused by the disturbances in the body’s energy field and that the tapping on the meridians would keep thinking of the negative emotion which alters the body’s energy field, it then restores the balance to it.
