The main aim of the Calorie Shifting Diet is to increase your metabolic rate so it starts burning fat. If you continually eat low calorie foods your bodies metabolism keeps getting slower and slower, going into ‘Starvation Mode’. When in this ‘Starvation Mode’ the body burns little to no fat as it saves it for future use.
