The Importance of Facial Cleansers

Many people take one of the most easy to apply and simplest skin products for granted: facial cleansers. Personally, I feel that using a facial cleanser is a must each and every morning when I wake up and each night before bed. A facial cleanser can be substituted by a facial soap, but for my money I won’t go anywhere without my cleanser.

Cleansing the face is a routine everyone should get into. Not only will it leave your skin clean and fresh, but it will also remove any toxins and work to exfoliate the skin, which is important because when you exfoliate you push out all of the dead or damaged skin cells. Dead skin cells leave the skin scaly and dull by most people’s accounts, and although you cannot see them, they are on the surface in minute fragments and removing them is in your skin’s best interest.

A good facial cleanser will also keep the skin clean and away from any oils, which will cause acne. If you cleanse thoroughly, you will see that your skin will be much less prone to acne and other redness that forms on the skin as it sweats and suffers damage from elements such as the sun.

Two cleansers I have in my routine have different formulas but both work very well. I use the Extreme Cleansing Gel by Wrinkle System as a body wash of sort. It’s a smooth gel that glides onto the skin and feels fabulous when I rub it on my body. It has a slight fragrance the makes me feel fantastic in the morning. I am not sure if this is meant to be a full body wash, but I’ve been using it as one and have had fantastic results.

The other cleanser I use is called the Utlra Cleanser made by a brand called EliteSkin. This is one strong cleanser and one I would not waste on my body, as it’s pretty advanced. Since I’ve used it, my acne I get form the gym has not even dared to surface.
