What Do Hemorrhoids Look Like

Characteristics
1. The size of hemorrhoid can be bigger than a grape or the size of a walnut
The most normal and commonly found is usually the size of a pea. It also differs in numbers from person to person. Sometimes there is simply one hemorrhoid, while some people can have numerous hemorrhoids. Usually a small bunch of hemorrhoids is found.
2. What do Hemorrhoids look like
They can look like compressed grapes, some are fuller. There are others that might look wrinkly. They typically come out of the anus or protrude. Sometimes the hemorrhoids stay inside the anus out of view they are the interior hemorrhoids, while some hemorrhoids expand on the skin outside of the anus, these are the exterior hemorrhoids. Sometimes they wedge the anus from being seen.
3. They are cushion like to feel
It might seem like a bump, which begins to protrude after a while. An interior hemorrhoid will feel like a bump since it’s inside the anal area and hence habitually not diagnosed for a longer period, while the external hemorrhoid is effortlessly visible to the common man.
4. What Hemorrhoids look like is often confused with anal fissures
Seeing stains of blood on the toilet paper and hurting with bowel movements, people believe its hemorrhoids when the trouble might really be a small but excruciating tear called an anal fissure. If stools are hard and dry, the anal sphincter is forced open broader than normal. This consequence in an anal fissure or a tear.
5. External Hemorrhoids are swollen areas of skin and blood vessels around the anus
They are extremely innervated and sensitive, and are also at hazard for thrombosis. They expand around the exterior opening of the anus. It is more often than not very painful as the skin in the region of them is extremely sensitive. Majority of the time, they are just annoying protrusions, which make personal care and hygiene particularly difficult. Many a time external hemorrhoids expand a clot inside of them. This occurs often after a period of constipation or diarrhea. In such cases, it produces a painful and firm swelling or lump around the border of the anus.
