Too Many Calories

What’s amount of calories do you require? Well, that depends on a set of things. Your age, type of work, sex and physical activity, all come into play. There is no precise answer for this. I have to inform you, I don’t consider the general ideas on how many calories a person should have. If you have a diet with 2,000 calorie, you are starving yourself. Some people live by this number. Why don’t I concentrate to a number such as 2,000? Only because it is unintelligent. Yes, you heard me right, unintelligent.

How is a person who is extremely active going to survive off of 2,000 calories? I think you get the glide though. I think those statistics are decided by people who are so alert on health, that they are blinded by it. What I am saying is, you must take it with a grain of salt. There is no cause why you should get bent out of shape if you go a little hundred or even a thousand over this limit. If you are going over by 5,000 then you should be concerned.

You should be very alert on your diet. Also people with sugar troubles would fall into this category. If you don’t have health problem, I wouldn’t get too bent out of form. Though, if you are consuming from the drive through lane each day, you might have a problem. If you are eating 3,500 calories and they are typically from things that are good for you, no reason to worry. But if it is all from deep fried foods and candies, you should be concerned. You should be more worried about where the calories are coming from.

If you are eating 1,500 calories alone of veggies and fruits, that is better than consuming that in fat. Isn’t it all the same? Not really. I know that several of you will dispute with that. It isn’t the same since the calories are coming from a high-quality source. The veggies and fruits will help you out in several ways. This isn’t true if you are over consuming on fats and sweets.

What to do? Well, all I understand is what I have stated above. If you are consuming over 2,000 calories and you are consuming high-quality things, I wouldn’t be too worried. As always, you should converse to your doctor. That is the finest advice I can give you. Happy eating.
