Intermittent fasting is a way of fasting from food for a period of usually 24 to 36 hours, once or twice per week. You are not allowed to take anything except water during this period of time. How to use Fasting in Your Muscle Building Program?

You should include intermittent fasting one day per week at the start. If you are comfortable with that in some time, then you can do it twice a week. When you delete two full day’s calories from your weekly diet, you will lose your calories intake without doing anything else and it will not affect your metabolism too. You will not experience any energy drain; in fact you will feel more energetic.

You can eat normally on your off days during the intermittent fasting diet plan. But you have to be in your limits. If you fast for two days and made recovery of that two days in the remaining days by eating enormously, then that’s not going to work. You have to be normal and reasonable in your approach.
