Real smoking facts : story of past smoker Jim, 44 years old :
My age is forty four years. And I was suffering from the Airways disruptive illness about twelve moths before from todays date. This is one of the diseases that could be the cause of my death and I would be leaving behind my beloved daughter.
My home land country is South Africa. It is the place where I intake my first cigarette puff. I was just ten years of age when I started to smoke. At that time, I used to purchase it in only half cent. In our country, there was no restricted age limit.
Any one can buy cigarette from the markets. I was a chain smoker. I kept on smoking during my pregnancy but I reduce the quantity of cigarette in take from forty to ten per day. I managed my self from not smoking when I was around my daughter in my house or car but I used to smoke with my friend when I was at work.
I was a little bit aware of the health harms that could encounter me but I was a chain smoker and I was unable to get away from it. It was affecting my daughter and she had nine times pneumonia before she reached the age of two. This is not the only sufferings she had but she was allergic, asthmatic and eczema.
We just shifted our place to another city of South Africa and this place was smoke free. At my home land, I never smoked in front of her but she was having the affects but here she was able to breathe in fresh air and was recovering from asthma problem. But she still had the old cold.
When you are chain smoker, you do not care for the price and it really seems me funny when government announces that they are increasing the price of the cigarette and other addictive stuff. But smokers never care about the price if they are addictive.
What I think is behind the increased price of smoke is that they are just trying to meet up with the money they lost from those people who had quit smoking habit. I am living in the country, where government do not pay the health bills like America, so as I thought why should government would care about the people who smoke?
I was a victim of the smoking and I had known that the adductors can not survive without single piece of cigarette. I tried my times by many methods but was totally failed to get away from it. But it started to work when I used the Zyban. It was really a good drug that was working for me. When I used to intake the pill, I felt like nothing more.
My cigarette inhaling receptors stopped their functionality and I throw away the stick. But when I want to smoke, I just do not take the medicine. I was not determined that is why I was suffering from such a disease. But anyone else uses zyban as a drug for the cure of this disease can be recovered if he/she is determined.
