Noni Juice : A Complete Health Drink

Noni plant is plant native to South East Asia and Pacific Islands. It is small tree having a small yellowish white fruit that contains almost all the nutrients. It is extensively grown in Tahitian island and the popular health drink made from its pulp is known as Tahitian Noni drink. Noni fruit is also known as Morinda, cheese fruit and Indian mulberry. Noni juice was extensively used as a health drink to fight against many diseases in the countries where Noni is native.

Noni contains all the water and fat soluble vitamins, most of the minerals, carbohydrates and protein, but has a low fat content. It has high fiber content as well. Noni juice is rich in Vitamin C, Vitamin B3 and other B-group vitamins. Many essential amino acids, minerals, micronutrients, trace elements, phytochemicals and co-factors are extensively present in Noni juice. It has some natural sedative agents that are helpful to reduce anxiety, stress and blood pressure. Noni is rich is two complex carbohydrates ?inulin and nystose. They have proven anti-depressive action. Studies have proved that Noni juice can increase the level of xeronine in blood, which is much beneficial to reduce anger and stress. Xeronine is also helpful to fight against trauma and infection as it can boost the immune system.

Scientists have also discovered many naturally occurring antioxidants like flavonoids and lignans. This helps in slow the normal aging process. It also helps in cellular regeneration in case of traumatic and other types of cell injury besides having the property of regularization of cellular function. Noni juice is a source of beta-sitosterol which has shown its effectiveness in reducing cholesterol level in laboratory animals.

Although there is not much study conducted upon the Noni juice, the search is going on. Very soon scientists will come up with the proven facts regarding the health benefits of Nonin juice.
