What are internal hemorrhoids symptoms
Internal hemorrhoids occur above the dentate or pectinate line in the anal canal. They are enclosed by a mucous membrane. The internal hemorrhoid is graded to help out with the selection of a cure plan. The cure is then provided as per to the grade. The grade of the hemorrhoid depends purely on the extent of drop into the anal canal and out of the anus.
a) First degree - Here the interior hemorrhoids are inflamed, but they in no way pro-lapse and hardly ever produce symptomatology. This cannot be envisaged during an external examination but need the use of a proctoscope.
b) Second degree - Here the interior hemorrhoids pro-lapse with defecation but they come back to their original point spontaneously. Like the first degree, this also cannot be envisaged during an exterior examination but need the use of a proctoscope.
c) Third degree - Not like the first two, internal hemorrhoids pro-lapse with each bowel movement and even with physical effort. Some hemorrhoids need manual replacement back to their point of origin.
d) Fourth degree - They are enduringly and everlastingly prolapsed regardless of efforts to place them to their original position
All of the above mentioned risk for severe pain, thrombosis and bleeding.
Symptoms
1. Blood on the lavatory paper after a bowel movement. The stool is very hard or exceptionally large. Blood might also be seen on the toilet seat.
2. Sometimes an interior hemorrhoid protrudes through the anus outside the body, leading to irritation and pain. This is identified as protruding hemorrhoid.
Treatment for internal hemorrhoids symptom
1. Injection Sclerotherapy - A chemical solution is inserted into the mucous membrane near the hemorrhoid ensuing in inflammation and closure of the veins, thus shrinking the hemorrhoid.
2. Rubber Band Ligation - In this procedure a small rubber band is placed at the bottom of the internal hemorrhoid. The blood supply to the hemorrhoid is sliced off hence resulting in it to contract up.
3. Infrared Photocoagulation - An infrared is aimed to clot the dilated veins of the hemorrhoid. The hemorrhoids contract as the blood does not flow through the coagulated blood vessels.
4. Hemorrhoidectomy - Here the hemorrhoid is surgically detached with a scalpel, laser or cattery device.
5. Laser Coagulation - An electric current is passed to the hemorrhoids triggering a chemical reaction that halts the blood supply in the hemorrhoid and causes the swollen tissue to shrink.
