Cialis: The Answer to Erectile Dysfunction

Erectile dysfunction has become one of the major sexual problems in men’s health. In the United Kingdom, 1 out of 10 people has suffered from erectile dysfunction in some part of their life. It occurs when a person fails to develop or maintain an erection, adequate to fulfill the sexual requirement. During the sexual arousal period, the brain sends a signal to the penile nerves. This in turn causes dilatation of the blood vessels present inside the musculature of the penis. As blood flows into the muscles, the penis becomes engorged. As long as the arousal is present, the dilatation remains and the erection is maintained. In people suffering from erectile dysfunction, the blood vessels fail to dilate properly.
Cialis is a drug that has become the answer to the disease nowadays. Cialis works by inhibiting phosphodiesterase 5 enzyme. In turn, there is release of Nitric oxide from the nerve endings of the blood vessels. Nitric oxide helps in dilatation of blood vessels. You must have heard the name of Viagra Sildenafil, Cialis works in the same way. It has to be taken once in a day, before sexual act. The half life is more (~ 36 hours) in Cialis than Viagra (~4 hours). Therefore, it is not necessary to take just before the act. You can take Cialis in the morning and carry on your official works; and when the time comes, it will never fail.
Before taking the first dose of Cialis, you must consult your doctor. If you are suffering from heart problems and on medications like nitrates and alpha-blocking agents, you are not a fit person to take Cialis. It may precipitate heart attack.
You cannot buy Cialis over the counter. You must have your doctor’s prescription to get your dose. There are some online pharmacies to help you out.
