A Friend When You Really Need Help
Do you have ailing parents who stay back home when you are away for long hours? Do they have some medical problem and you are not beside them when they require assistance? Do you want to be free from this tension as who will offer help in time of their emergency? Well, the help is just a call away or rather I should say a push button away?
I have seen many companies offering such help in case of emergency. But this product and their mentors are different. They have developed some good devices. Even your parents will not have to go in a place where the alert system is located in your house. They have manufactured such a product that will automatically send distress signals to the control room and help will reach immediately. Let me explain. Suppose your father has fallen down from the stairs and injured his hip. He can not dial 911 as the phone is located way beyond him. This is a medical emergency and he needs help. Now, the fall detection device will automatically send Medical Alert to the operator. He will ensure that assistance must reach as soon as possible.
If your parents do not do any kind of activity after a certain period specified by you, the inactivity detection device will send an alert to the operator. Someone will definitely check your house to enquire about any irregularities.
They are also offering a GPS tracking and guidance system. It is a 2 way speakerphone system and a GPS tracking device. Suppose your parents went on for a brisk walk and went outside the designated area, the safety zone monitoring system will automatically send an alert. The round the clock operators will either call you or your parent. You can ask about their whereabouts over the two way speakerphone system. But I did not like this facility much as there may be several false negative distress signals. If you do not care to be bothered during a meeting at your office repeatedly, you can jolly well ask for this service.
The GPS device also has a panic button. If your parent is in need for help anytime, anywhere; all they have to do is to press the panic button. An operator will be there to attend your call. They will send the required help from the local authority.
I found the fall alert and the Medical Alert device much more intriguing than some other devices available in the market. You don not have to do anything to call for help. The device is so formulated that it can sense the fall and call for immediate help.
My overall experience with the two devices was good excepting the safety zone wandering tracking system. I find it somewhat not matching with the sovereignty of a person. We must be free from any burden to go anywhere as we want to. But of course, if you are a senior citizen and your kids love you, you may have to take the pain.
