Many people do not rely on homemade acne treatments because they think it is an old fashioned way of treating things. If you just do a quick check on any acne product that you may have laying around you will find that many of them contain the same things found in several fruits and vegetables.
One main cause of acne is lack of vitamins A and E. Oils will clog up your pores which in turn will cause acne. What many acne products do is try to give you a good amount of these vitamins so your pores will no longer be clogged.
Acne is not only caused by clogged pores but by not properly cleaning your skin. You need to clean your skin daily. A good idea is to use lemon to clean your skin. What this will do is kill the bacteria on your skin because it contains citric acid. Another very effective homemade acne treatment is to put garlic onto spots of acne.
There are several other homemade acne treatments that you can also try to use. Another good one is by changing your diet. If you currently eat a lot of fatty foods or fast food then you need to try and stop. Add a large amount of fruits and vegetables to your daily diet and drink plenty of water every single day.
