There are many simple and practical reasons why patients would naturally opt for a drug-free PCOS treatment. For one, natural treatments are proven to be free from any adverse side effects. There would be lower chances for complications that may result form the intake of a drug. Medications often are also too costly. With the increasing economic crunches, it is just practical if PCOS treatment would be done the natural and less costly way.
It ahs been found that overall and effective weight reduction would always be the best drug-free PCOS treatment. That is because a number of research efforts have found that obesity is a major factor why menstruation and ovulation is affected. Thus, if weight would be lowered to natural and recommended levels, menstruation and ovulation almost always naturalizes.
To attain a drug-free PCOS treatment, it would be effective if diet and overall lifestyle would be improved. Taking low-carbohydrate food along with regular and strenuous exercise routines would help any PCOS patient shed off weight easily and quickly. Researchers found that is patients would derive carbohydrate requirements from wholegrain, fruits and vegetables, the result would be more tremendous and apparent.
